RASA-NET CEM is a three component epoxy water-based skim coat, intended for professional use.
After curing, the product forms a suitable granite layer and is suitable as a primer for resin coatings.
Excellent adhesion on substrates also in presence of humidity or in the presence of water infiltrations; also suitable for several compact or porous surfaces such as stoneware, grit tiles, plasters, fiber cement. Excellent breathability.
WHAT IT’S FOR
Product particularly indicated as a base layer with the insertion of the fibreglass mesh (FIBRANET).
On internal and external surfaces, even damp or with water infiltrations, it can be applied on: concrete, sand and cement screed, tiled and stone floors, before the laying of epoxy or polyurethane resin coatings (antacids or waterproofing).
Specific base to vapor barrier on wet surfaces, preventive to the laying of traditional floors and in particular linoleum, pvc, rubber, carpet and parquet. Ideal as a base coat for swimming pools, bathtubs, garages and underground rooms.
METHOD OF USE
- SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface to be treated must be in good condition, free of any detaching parts, free from oils, greases or polluting substances.
In the presence of lime or cement residues, clean the area with STRONG (see relevant technical sheet); In the presence of smog, grease, moss and lichens clean the surface with MAXXXI (see relevant technical sheet).
The substrate must have a tear-resistant surface of not less than 15 kg/cm2 (Elcometer Adhesion Tester method).
We recommend to sand the surfaces, depending on the type, using the suitable machinery: shot peening machine, single-brush machine with emery cloth or machine for rolling with a diamond disk. At the end of the mechanical abrasion, dust the surface properly. Any restoration of damaged parts must be carried out with specific mortars.
RASA NET CEM can be applied by american steel spatula.
Three-component product, for the preparation pour component A into the container of component B and mix thoroughly, add 15-20% water (for the 20 kg package add 3-4 liters of water, for the 5-pack kg add 0.75-1 liter of water), proceed with mixing. Only after obtaining a perfect homogenization add component C by pouring it flush, continue mixing with a mechanical stirrer until a uniform mixture is reached.
